Assistant Director Terri Rice

Terri Rice is a graduate of West Chester University with a BS in Music Education. Her love of music began as a little girl, singing Harry Bellafonte songs with her father.

She began her teaching career in the Moore County Public Schools in North Carolina, teaching middle school bands and the Southern Pines high school marching band.

Mrs. Rice returned to teaching music after working 15 years as a professional mother. She directed concert bands at St. Genevieve, Holy Cross (St. Eleanor), and Mater Dei (St. Stanislaus) Parochial Schools, for 20 years, created the Jazz Masters Ensemble from a combination of students of her schools, and coordinated the Phila Archdiocesan Honor Bands.

As a leader of the Worship Ministry at her church, Mrs. Rice enjoys playing acoustic and bass guitars in a praise band, and coordinating the music program for services.

Mrs. Rice lives in Perkiomenville with her husband Brian, enjoys playing pickleball, and time spent with their four children, who are scattered around the east coast.

When the Red Hill Band formed in 1900, our intent was to provide enjoyable entertainment to families in our community. Since then our community has experienced many changes, but our intent has remained unchanged. With about 15 performances each summer, the Red Hill Band entertains crowds of all ages throughout the Montgomery County area. Our artistic mission is to continue the tradition of band concerts in parks and at civic and social events, playing marches, show tunes and other traditional concert band music.
