Who We Are
The Red Hill Band is a 50-member community band playing summer concerts throughout the suburban Philadelphia area. We’re a family-friendly band, with music to please young and old alike.
Our all-volunteer brass, woodwind and percussion musicians range in age from 15 to 94. We have an extensive repertoire that includes Broadway show tunes, Big Band sounds, some serious compositions and, of course, the finest in toe-tapping marches by John Philip Sousa and others.
While most of our concerts are in the Montgomery county area, we have performed in the Pastorius Park concert series in Philadelphia’s Chestnut Hill area, and we formerly played an annual Summer concert at the Rehoboth Beach band stand in Delaware.
